What oomou is
oomou is a social intelligence simulator. Instead of a personality questionnaire, it runs a live spoken conversation with an AI interviewer through six real workplace scenarios, then returns a profile of how you actually come across and a personalised plan for where to grow.
The assessment takes 15 to 25 minutes, spoken out loud. It is free to start — one full assessment costs nothing and needs no card.
A real conversation, not a questionnaire
Six workplace scenarios, spoken out loud with an AI interviewer that listens, pushes back, and adapts to your answers in real time. There are no trick questions and no right answers: each scenario is a genuine dilemma where every option costs something.
The interviewer voices the person applying the pressure — the manager suggesting nobody will check, the colleague asking you to keep it simple — so you have to answer a person, not a hypothetical. It then asks follow-up questions aimed at the part of your answer you skated over.
What gets measured
Six dimensions, each inspired by one factor of the HEXACO personality model, each probed by its own scenario: Authenticity (Honesty-Humility), Emotional Depth (Emotionality), Social Awareness (Agreeableness), Narrative Clarity (Conscientiousness), Openness (Openness to Experience), and Communicative Confidence (Extraversion).
Scoring rewards a specific committed action, the concrete words you would say, and a cost you acknowledge and accept. Stating the right intent abstractly — "I would communicate openly", "I would stay calm" — is the most common answer and is deliberately scored mid-range, because it commits to nothing. Length and polish earn nothing on their own.
Your conversation is analysed anonymously
Your name, employer, school, location, age and any demographic detail you mention are stripped out and replaced with neutral tags before any scoring model reads a word, so you are scored on what you said rather than who you are.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in the EU, and handled under GDPR. Your profile, transcript and report are private to your account and go to nobody unless you send them. Voice audio is not retained. You can export or delete everything from your profile at any time.
Sign-in is a one-time six-digit code emailed to you. No password is stored, so there is nothing to reuse, guess, or lose in a breach.
What it costs
Free to start: one full assessment, your six-dimension profile and a personalised growth plan, with no card required. Pro is $10 per month billed annually ($120 per year), or $38 per month billed monthly, and adds five assessments a month so you can retake and track what actually changed.
Where oomou is today
oomou is an early-stage beta. Scores are AI-generated estimates from a single conversation and have not been scientifically validated — no reliability, predictive-validity or bias studies have been run, and the dimensions are inspired by the HEXACO model rather than an implementation of it. Validating the traits is the current research priority.
Results are intended for self-development. oomou’s Terms prohibit using a score as the sole basis for a hiring, promotion or termination decision.
