How to try our demo

  • Use the speak/voice function — natural “umms”, “ahhs” and pauses are welcome.

  • Find a quiet, private place.

  • Give us feedback to improve our demo.

  • Use the latest version of Chrome or Safari.

  • US$1.2 trillion is lost each year by US businesses because of failures in social skills at work. Many of these failures come from social skills gaps that are invisible to today’s CVs and keyword screeners. Current hiring methods don’t help: self‑assessments are easy to game and interviews reward rehearsed answers. Feedback can be vague — “Be more of a team player” — what does that even mean? Oomou’s story is simple — we want to help improve workers’ and leaders’ social skills so that that eye-watering amount of money is reduced over the coming years. We want to help.

  • We’re developing an AI assistant to support human judgement in evaluating social skills and improving the hiring process. Grounded in peer-reviewed personality frameworks, the system analyses conversational data from multiple perspectives to generate meaningful, actionable insights about interpersonal strengths and development areas.

  • In the demo you speak while three AI agents actively listen and analyse your responses. Our alpha prototype focuses on two priorities: developing guardrails and validating a question library that reduces rehearsed answers. Your anonymous feedback will help us identify major flaws and improve the system.

  • In a technology‑dominated, increasingly automated workplace, people skills — not just technical skills — will determine your career trajectory. Better assessment tools help employers hire more effectively and give individuals clearer, personalised feedback they can act on.
